A portion of Iran’s frozen assets will be released immediately upon signing, while the remainder will be gradually unfrozen throughout the course of the negotiations. Tehran has reportedly received clear guarantees based on mechanisms it has proposed.

5. War Reparations on the Agenda

Compensation for damages inflicted on Iran as a result of U.S. and Israeli aggression is among the issues referenced in the memorandum. The implementation mechanism for reparations will be agreed upon during the 60-day negotiations following the signing.
