Pentagon Concerned About Israeli Espionage Threat Against US

Pentagon Sounds the Alarm, Why?

NOURNEWS – The disclosure that the Pentagon has raised the Israeli espionage threat level to “critical” has once again highlighted the extent of Tel Aviv’s influence within the US power structure, a process that has extended from espionage and political influence operations to the elimination of scientific elites and the shaping of Washington’s strategic decisions.

While White House officials have effectively and openly embraced an “Israel First” policy through warmongering in West Asia, including military aggression against Iran, undermining the security of Arab states, and imposing heavy economic costs on European and Eastern allies, demonstrating little regard even for the interests of the United States and its people, NBC News reported, citing informed sources, that the Pentagon has raised the Israeli espionage threat against the United States to the highest possible level.

According to US officials, an internal Pentagon intelligence memorandum elevated Israel’s espionage threat level to “critical.” These officials emphasized that there are serious concerns within the Pentagon regarding Israeli efforts to monitor senior US officials. The concerns also extend to espionage targeting decision-making processes related to developments in West Asia.

NBC News, citing current and former US officials, reported that Israel’s recent activities have gone far beyond conventional and expected intelligence-gathering efforts. The United States has also announced that it will adopt special precautionary measures during visits by its officials to the occupied territories.

Although these warnings may appear to reflect the vigilance of US intelligence and security agencies against espionage and infiltration threats, they in fact reveal a devastating reality: the Zionist regime is not only a threat to humanity as a whole, but also shows no restraint even toward its principal patron and godfather. Reports concerning the assassination of 11 US nuclear and aerospace scientists point to Mossad involvement in operations aimed at increasing dependence on, and control over, sensitive US technologies and facilities.

A Regime Whose Threat Has Reached Its Main Backer

The Zionist regime has long been portrayed by many countries and international bodies as a threat to national security and the international order. Through espionage, sabotage, infiltration of policymaking and decision-making institutions, the assassination of officials, scientists, and influential figures, and the encouragement of separatist movements and terrorist groups, it seeks to weaken countries economically, politically, militarily, and culturally, ultimately establishing dominance over them.

Such warnings have been raised repeatedly, yet US leaders and some Western governments have effectively become obstacles to holding the regime accountable. The result has been a false sense of confidence in Tel Aviv and the continuation of its espionage activities, anti-human conduct, and crisis-generating behavior worldwide.

NBC News’ report on the Pentagon warnings once again underscores the validity of the positions taken by the Resistance Front, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and global movements such as the boycott and sanctions campaign against Israel, all of which have long viewed the regime as a threat to humanity and regard confronting it as a global responsibility.

The Pentagon report is less a sign of the institution’s strength in countering threats than a reflection of the dangerous consequences of strategic miscalculations by US leaders. A policy based on unlimited concessions to and alignment with the Zionist regime has now reached a point where the regime is allegedly spying on senior US officials and attempting to steer them toward its own objectives.

Notably, the Epstein case and reports regarding Mossad’s alleged role in compromising certain US and European officials have exposed important dimensions of the consequences of Israeli intelligence networks’ penetration of Western power structures, a form of influence that reportedly exploits moral scandals as tools of pressure and blackmail.

The Mystery of Suspicious Deaths: Eliminating Scientific Elites Under the Shadow of Intelligence Penetration

US security agencies have recently revealed what they describe as a disturbing reality: 11 American nuclear and aerospace scientists have been assassinated or abducted, and in the latest case, the body of one of them was discovered after several months

The methods used in these killings reportedly bear notable similarities to Mossad operational patterns. More importantly, the victims’ professional and technical links to facilities and technologies that the Zionist regime has long sought to penetrate and control have drawn attention.

The assassinations and abductions cannot, it appears, be separated from Pentagon warnings about intensified Israeli espionage activities. The Zionist regime allegedly views such actions as tools for expanding its influence and shaping major US policies.

In other words, a regime with a long record of assassinating scientists and intellectual figures in various countries, including Iraq and Iran, and of targeting scientific, academic, and research institutions—such as the Pasteur Institute, with US support, has now extended this dominance-oriented policy into the United States itself.

The significance of this issue becomes even clearer in light of recent allegations that US Vice President Vance has been providing regular reports to Tel Aviv. Critics view such claims as evidence of the extent of the Zionist regime’s influence over Washington’s policymaking processes.

A Multi-Layered Influence Network: From the White House to Congress

Although the United States has consistently been the Zionist regime’s largest supporter, the transformation of the slogan “America First” into “Israel First,” coupled with growing global revulsion toward the regime’s conduct, has led a significant segment of American society to call for a reassessment of relations with Tel Aviv.

Ahead of the congressional midterm elections, a number of lawmakers have openly criticized the regime, arguing that the Trump administration, at Netanyahu’s request, has entangled the country in tensions and conflict with Iran and their potentially disastrous consequences.

Today, because of its unconditional support for the Zionist regime, the United States is paying a heavy political, economic, security, and reputational price worldwide. For many observers, distancing itself from the regime has become an essential requirement for safeguarding US national interests and security.

Under these circumstances, the Zionist regime appears to be expanding its espionage activities both to preserve its influence within the US power structure and to sustain an “Israel First” policy—even at the expense of US interests. The Pentagon report may reflect growing concern over the risks this trend poses to the future of America’s global standing.

Intelligence penetration and the use of espionage tools have become especially important for the Zionist regime at a time when Trump has yet to present a clear strategy regarding developments in West Asia and the issue of Iran. Available evidence also suggests that these efforts extend to the US Congress and attempts to influence senators and representatives.

In this regard, the online journalism platform Responsible Statecraft, affiliated with the Quincy Institute in Washington, reported that a proposal to integrate US and Israeli military arsenals has been included in the House version of the Fiscal Year 2027 National Defense Authorization Act.

It appears that the Zionist regime has expanded its influence and espionage activities not only in military and security spheres and among White House officials, but across a broader range of the US political system. This trend could shift the priorities of American policymakers away from the demands of the public and the country’s national interests toward the preferences of Tel Aviv.

This situation is the product of the illusions of politicians who have replaced “America First” with “Israel First,” thereby contributing to a deepening crisis in US domestic security and global standing. According to critics, the threat stems from the expansionist and terrorist nature of the Zionist regime—a regime that, alongside undermining global security, seeks domination, blackmail, and the entrapment of even its own allies in pursuit of its anti-human objectives. From this perspective, its role in warmongering against Iran and adherence to Netanyahu’s demands are among the clearest examples of this approach.
