Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi is reportedly carrying a message from Pakistani army cheif Field Marshal Munir to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.
Naqvi traveled to Tehran in April alongside Pakistan’s army chief on an official visit. He subsequently made two additional official trips to Iran in late May and early June.
It was later reported at Saturday midnight that at the end of his meeting with Pakistani Interior Minister, Eskandar Momeni stated that Pakistan is a very large country and we have a religious and cultural shared history and many commonalities with each other. Pakistan is our friend, brother and neighbor, he added.
Meanwhile, the Leader referred to the cultural and historical commonalities of the two countries in his first message.
