Iran’s civilization made all aggressors regret their savage acts: Foreign Ministry

Iran’s enduring strength lies not merely in its geography but civilizational depth and spiritual essence that made aggressors ultimately regret their brutality, Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei said in a social media post on Tuesday.

The message, accompanied by a photograph of young Iranian soldier Hossein Mohammadi who lost his hands and legs defending his country, pictured along his newborn baby, underscored the profound bond between Iranians and their homeland.

“Homeland, for Iranians, is something far beyond a mere attachment to land and soil; it is a legacy as ancient as a civilization stretching back thousands of years, passed down from ancestors to their descendants,” Baghaei wrote.

“It is precisely this civilizational quality imbued with a spiritual essence that has caused all aggressors to ultimately regret their savage acts,” he said.

“This is how Iran has endured throughout history, and this is how it will continue to endure proudly.”

The image of Mohammadi has become a symbol of Iranian resilience and sacrifice.

The United States and the Israeli regime imposed their unprovoked, illegal war of aggression against Iran on February 28. They assassinated Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

Iran’s armed forces responded decisively with at least 100 waves of missile and drone strikes under Operation True Promise 4, pounding US military bases across West Asia and Israeli positions throughout the occupied territories.

The United States and Israel have killed thousands of civilians, including over 160 school children in the Minab massacre.
