An IRGC statement said on Sunday afternoon that the missiles were fired with the sacred motto 'O' Amir al-Momenin' and dedicated to the martyrs of the Fath al-Mobin operation on March 22, 1982.
It said that heavy missiles such as Qader, Kheibar-Shekan, and Khoramshahr-4 were successfully fired at American bases in the region, as well as, central and southern occupied Palestinian lands, as part of pre-designed war scenarios with new tactics and upgraded systems.
According to the same statement, Prince Sultan Air Base of the United States in Saudi Arabia, the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, and the hideouts of Komalah terrorist group in the Iraqi Kurdistan region were hit by lightning-missile and drone strikes on the previous days
Additionally, Israel's military bases and security facilities in Tel Aviv, Petah Tikva, Holon, and Ramat Gan were thoroughly destroyed with direct impact of heavy missiles such as Qadr, Kheibar-Shekan and Khorramshahr 4.
The US and the Israeli regime launched a joint military aggression against Iran on February 28, some eight months after they attacked the country last year. Both attacks came as Tehran was in the midst of diplomatic talks with Washington over its peaceful nuclear program.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was assassinated in a US-Israeli terrorist airstrike targeting his residence and office.
In response, Iran has carried out targeted, proportionate self-defense strikes against Israeli positions and US regional military bases, warning that further aggression will face a harsher response.
