Iran’s new condition for tanker passage through Strait of Hormuz

A senior Iranian official told CNN, Iran is considering allowing a limited number of oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, on the condition that the oil cargo be traded in Chinese yuan.

The source added that the possible move comes as the Islamic Republic is working on a new plan to manage the flow of tankers through the strait.
