In his first message on Thursday, Ayatollah Khamenei extended condolences on the martyrdom of late leader of Islamic Revolution, Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

Referring to the importance of the people’s position in the Islamic system, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized unity among people in the current condition of the country. He said that an effective presence on the scene must be maintained—both the kind that have shown in these days and nights of war, and in the form of various types of effective roles in different social, political, educational, cultural, and security arenas.

He further noted that what is important is that the correct role be well understood and implemented as completely as possible, without harming social unity. “Therefore, I remind you of the importance of participating in this year’s Quds Day (1447 AH) rally, where the element of breaking the enemy must be the focus of everyone’s attention,” he added.

The Leader emphasized the importance of helping each other during these special days, urging administration service organizations not to withhold assistance from the public.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Khamenei expressed gratitude to the country’s Armed Forces for their defense against the aggressive front, highlighting that the nation expects a continued effective and strong response.

He stressed that the option of blocking the Strait of Hormuz should definitely remain on the table, noting that studies have been conducted on the possibility of opening other fronts where the enemy has little experience and would be particularly vulnerable. He added that in line with preserving national interests, these fronts could be activated if the state of war continues.

Ayatollah Khamenei also extend his heartfelt gratitude to the fighters of the Resistance Front. He said that the Islamic Republic of Iran considers the countries of the Resistance Front as its best friends, noting that the cause of resistance and the Resistance Front is an inseparable part of the values of the Islamic Revolution.

“Undoubtedly, the solidarity among the components of this [resistance] front will shorten the path to liberation from the Zionist sedition; just as we have seen that courageous and faithful Yemen did not abandon the defense of the oppressed people of Gaza, and the self-sacrificing Hezbollah, despite all obstacles, has come to the aid of the Islamic Republic, and the brave Iraqi resistance has also resolutely pursued the same path”, the Leader added.

Iran will avenge the blood of its martyrs

Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized, “We will not abandon seeking revenge for the blood of the martyrs and assured the people that the revenge we have in mind is not only related to the martyrdom of the Leader of the Revolution; rather, every member of the nation who is martyred by the enemy is itself an independent subject for the revenge file.”

He underlined that Islamic republic of Iran will extract compensation from its enemies, or it will destroy the enemies’ assets to an equivalent degree.
