Araghchi’s letter to Guterres and Security Council on assassination of Iran’s Leader
NOURNEWS – Iran’s foreign minister has sent a letter to the UN secretary-general, members of the Security Council, and the foreign ministers of UN member states regarding the assassination of Ayatollah Khamenei by the United States and Israel.
In his letter to the secretary-general of the United Nations and the members of the Security Council, Seyed Abbas Araghchi stressed that Iran is calling for effective action to ensure the full accountability of the United States and the Israeli regime for what he described as the heinous terrorist act that led to the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
