“We will hold Americans and Israelis accountable. You stepped on our red line, and you will pay the price,” Ghalibaf said in a vide message on Sunday.

“We will deal such devastating blows to you that you will beg for mercy,” he warned.

He added that the country’s officials had prepared themselves for such moments and planned for all scenarios, including the aftermath of Ayatollah Khamenei’s martyrdom.

Ghalibaf denounced US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as “filthy criminals,” warning, “This is not just an existential war for us, but a smoldering anger that the time for final retribution has come.”

The parliament speaker reassured the nation that “we will not allow the Islamic Republic of Iran to be swallowed up” by the enemies and “we will not let the hope of hundreds of millions of free people to be dashed.”

Ayatollah Khamenei was martyred in a US-Israeli act of aggression in Tehran on Saturday.
