Speaking at a meeting of the Coordination Council of his deputies on Sunday, Pezeshkian called for precise performance measurement and the targeted allocation of resources based on the results of the relevant government agencies.
The meeting, held under the theme “Suggestions for Effective Governance: Analyzing Cross-Sectoral Challenges and Providing Solutions,” addressed key current domestic issues, as well as strategies for improving the efficiency of the administration, including responsiveness, respect for citizens’ rights, transparency, and combating corruption.
The president stressed the need to strengthen cross-sectoral interactions, which he said would lead to greater transparency and a more efficient decision-making system. He also emphasized the importance of clearly defining missions and developing expert guidelines to resolve cross-sectoral issues.
Elsewhere, referring to the January unrest, he called for transparency and accurate reporting on the scope of those events, adding that he had already instructed the relevant departments to conduct a comprehensive and impartial investigation into all cases.
Pezeshkian’s deputies also presented their views and proposals in line with their respective areas of responsibility.
