Pezeshkian made the remarks during a ceremony marking the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, attended by foreign ambassadors in Tehran, Iran’s capital, on Monday.
He said the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic is grounded in dignified interaction, mutual respect, and shared interests, adding that Tehran has always considered dialogue and diplomacy as sustainable solutions to regional and international issues.
Referring to recent nuclear negotiations facilitated by neighboring countries, Pezeshkian described the talks as an important opportunity to reach a fair and balanced agreement, stressing that Iran seeks guarantees for its nuclear rights under the Non-Proliferation Treaty and the lifting of what he called unjust sanctions.
Pezeshkian also invited countries around the world to engage in sincere cooperation, expressing Iran’s readiness to enhance economic, trade, and diplomatic relations, particularly with neighboring countries and those in the region.
