Trump’s peace council: the second phase of genocide or a delusional peace?

Declaring the beginning of the second phase of Gaza truce by the U.S. with the introduction of “Trump’s Peace Council” for the administration of Gaza, is being done while the first phase has been accompanied by the continuation of genocide and failure in relief works.

Nournews: The 20-point scheme of Trump for Gaza, second phase of which has began now, faced failure from the beginning through fundamental failures in the realization of its claimed goals.

The first phase, which was mainly limited to the exchange of prisoners, failed to prevent the continuation of the killing and genocide in Gaza by the Zionist regime.

Warnings from the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) about a serious drinking water crisis and the deaths of tens of thousands of displaced people from the cold indicate the depth of the humanitarian disaster that has occurred in the shadow of promises of a ceasefire.

Failure to fulfill humanitarian commitments in the first phase has discredited any second phase, including the introduction of a Peace Council, and has raised serious doubts about Washington's sincerity in carrying out this process.

This approach suggests that the main goal is not to immediately stop the aggression, but to manage its political and humanitarian consequences in a way that ensures the interests of Israel’s supporters. The absence of positive action is merely a continuation of political tactics to buy time and normalize a situation that is not a real commitment to lasting peace.

A combination with fundamental contradictions: a scheme for Israel not Palestine

The structure of Trump’s Peace Council, which is supposed to administer Gaza after the truce, is filled with people whose appointments has made it impossible to implement it impartially. The direct presidency of Trump over the council and combination of members such as Marco Rubio (The U.S. Secretary of State), Jared Kushner (Son-in-law and advisor), Toney Blair (England’s former prime minister) all of whom have been historical supporters of Israel, reveal the true nature of this body.  This council serves the goals of Israel very clearly. The council’s members show that it is not pursuing to bring authority back to Palestine but to solidify the current situation.

The Zionist Regime: Unbridled Criminality and Absence of Responsibility

The biggest strategic flaw in Trump's Phase 2 plan is ignoring the main issue, namely containing the Zionist regime as the main perpetrator of war crimes and genocide.
Instead of focusing on stopping the aggression and disarming the aggressor, Trump's plan focuses on "state-building" and "reconstruction," which is in effect an attempt to disarm the Palestinian survivors and legitimize the occupation.

America's Role: Legitimization and International Business
The US action in the second phase plan is, rather than an attempt to establish peace, a major operation to legitimize the status quo and distribute its costs internationally.

By introducing an administrative structure under its control, Washington seeks to remove Israel's responsibility for managing Gaza while simultaneously advancing its strategic goals in the region.
This blatant commercialism in asking for money (such as asking for $1 billion from council members) shows that the reconstruction of Gaza is not a moral obligation, but a political-financial transaction in which the United States takes control and profits.

Until the US uses its leverage to completely stop the crimes and enforce justice, any proposed management structure, including the Peace Council, will be a tool for managing the crisis in favor of the occupier, not a solution to end it.
