Speaking in the commemoration ceremony of nomads in West Azarbaijan province, held in Mahabad on Thursday, Rear Admiral Shahram Irani stated that the powerful Iranian armed forces have been originated from the unity and amity of Iranian people and this issue has been proven on the international stage.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the Navy commander pointed to the homegrown destroyers equipped with the world’s most modern technologies, saying, “Today, Iranian-made destroyers have high capability of maneuvering in all coasts of the world and have also undertaken the security of regional seas.”
