Tahir Hussain Andrabi in his weekly press conference in Islamabad on Thursday, and in response to the stance taken by the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian after the threatening statements by the US president and the prime minister of the Israeli regime, said, “Our positions on issues related to Iran and the JCPOA are principled and we firmly support this country.”

“During Israel’s aggression against Iran, we have strongly supported the Islamic Republic of Iran and its right to defend itself, ” he added.

Regarding the gas pipeline from Iran, the spokesperson for the Pakistani Foreign Ministry also emphasized that Islamabad remains committed to this pipeline and it looks forward to progress on this issue.
