During the meeting, they discussed relations between Tehran and the Kurdistan region, Iraq’s overall situation, ties between Erbil and Baghdad, and ways to address shared challenges.

The two sides emphasized the importance of developing relations based on good neighborliness and mutual interests, while also exchanging views on regional developments, the need to preserve calm and stability, and several other issues of common concern.
