During the World Telecommunication Development Conference 2025 (WTDC-25) held in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan, Hashemi met with Saadullo for discussions on Saturday

The two parties addressed topics such as the importation of internet traffic from Iran to Tajikistan and collaboration in international roaming services.

Representatives from both countries expressed their willingness to enhance cooperation in digital technologies and cybersecurity, although specific details regarding the agreements were not released.

In the meeting, Saadullo emphasized the importance of sharing experiences in cybersecurity and training IT specialists, expressing hope that this collaboration would lead to enhanced communication services in Tajikistan.

The two-day conference in Baku brought together representatives from over 100 countries to explore challenges and opportunities in the communications and information technology sectors.
