Iranian government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani stated that Iran has received messages conveyed by mediator states. She emphasized that any mistake or hostile act by the enemy would face a response “stronger and more severe than in the past.”

On June 13, Israel launched a blatant and unprovoked aggression against Iran while Washington and Tehran were in a process of nuclear negotiations. The Israeli attack triggered a 12-day war that killed at least 1,064 people in the country, including military commanders, nuclear scientists, and ordinary civilians.

The United States also entered the war by bombing three Iranian nuclear sites in a grave violation of international law.

In response, the Iranian Armed Forces targeted strategic sites across the occupied territories as well as the Al-Udeid air base in Qatar, the largest American military base in West Asia.

On June 24, Iran, through its successful retaliatory operations against both the Israeli regime and the US, managed to impose a halt to the aggression.

On Sunday, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh warned that any potential talks with the US would not be neutral, but rather “armed negotiations,” emphasizing Tehran’s distrust and readiness to counter possible US deception.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Mohajerani underlined that Iran will continue efforts to expand relations with Russia, describing it as a neighboring country with which Tehran also intends to deepen cooperation in the field of nuclear energy. She further noted that Iran is committed to strengthening its ties with Russia and China, both members of the BRICS group.

She said Iran seeks to advance its relations with regional and Persian Gulf littoral countries based on mutual respect.

Referring to the developments surrounding Lebanon, Mohajerani also highlighted what she described as a necessity for Lebanon to possess weapons, saying that a nation living alongside the Israeli regime “must be armed.”
