Division and discord among Muslims are the explicit desire of the enemies of Islam, said Pezeshkian on Thursday.

Internal conflicts, he said, serve the interests of Israel, the United States, and their allies.

He said that the discord was precisely what Israel, the US, and Global Zionism wanted, so that the Islamic nation would be busy with conflict, and they could carry out any transgression they desired.

If unity and solidarity prevailed among Muslims, no power would dare to abuse Islamic lands, Pezeshkian said.

He identified internal divisions as the root cause of many calamities facing the Muslim community today.
