During the call, the two sides exchanged views on the latest situation in Gaza in light of the recent understanding aimed at halting the ongoing genocide.

Expressing deep concern over the Zionist regime’s blatant violations of the ceasefire in recent days—which have resulted in the martyrdom and injury of dozens of Palestinians—Araghchi stressed the responsibility of the ceasefire guarantors and the international community to prevent the continuation of Israel’s crimes and massacres.

The Egyptian side was also briefed on Iran’s views regarding the nuclear issue during the conversation.
