The embassy described such allegations as irresponsible and urged Britain to adopt a more constructive approach instead of repeating baseless accusations.

In a statement shared with IRNA, the embassy expressed its deep objection and firm denial of the recent remarks by the MI5 chief, which were made on October 16, 2025.

The embassy categorically rejected accusations of Iran’s involvement in so-called lethal plots or aggressive cross-border actions, calling them part of a continuous distortion aimed at misrepresenting the Islamic Republic’s policies and undermining diplomatic relations.

The embassy emphasized that the Iranian government firmly denies any involvement in violent acts, kidnappings, or harassment of individuals in Britain or elsewhere. These claims lack credible evidence and contradict Iran’s commitment to international law, sovereign equality, and the promotion of peaceful coexistence and international cooperation, it added.

Furthermore, the Iranian embassy urged the British government to refrain from making or escalating unfounded accusations, and instead advocate for responsible dialogue based on mutual respect to address shared security concerns through legal and diplomatic means.

The embassy reaffirmed its readiness to engage in such discussions and reiterated its commitment to international norms and peaceful international relations.
