"FM Araghchi arrives in Kampala, Uganda, this morning to attend the 19th Midterm Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM)," Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei wrote on X on Wednesday morning.

The main slogan of the summit has been declared as"Deepening Cooperation for Greater Global Prosperity and foreign ministers and diplomatic delegations from more than 120 member countries of the movement will attend.

In addition to general discussions and the announcement of the positions of the Non-Aligned Movement member states, a meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement's Palestine Committee will also be held with the presence of the member states, including the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The top Iranian diplomat is scheduled to explain the positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the general meeting of foreign ministers and hold meetings with his counterparts from various countries on the sidelines of the meeting.
