Minister of Foreign Affairs Seyed Abbas Araghchi convened a session this morning with ambassadors, chargés d’affaires, and heads of foreign and international representations in Tehran.
During the meeting, Araghchi outlined the recent activities of the Iranian delegation in New York and at the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. He provided a detailed briefing on developments related to Iran’s nuclear dossier and the snapback mechanism, emphasizing Tehran’s legal and diplomatic stance.
Iran has repeatedly stressed the illegality of the snapback mechanism and highlighted its compliance with the nuclear deal. Engaging with resident foreign diplomats is part of Tehran’s broader diplomatic efforts to explain its stance, counter misinformation, and reinforce bilateral relations with countries maintaining missions in the capital.
