The arrests were announced late Tuesday by Malayer Prosecutor Ahmad Safaei in a statement from his office.
Safaei said the two detainees were key members of an MKO-linked operational cell responsible for a series of sabotage activities in the city, including attacks on several Basij bases and a seminary.
Following these incidents, security forces launched extensive investigations, the prosecutor said, adding that the group was directly involved in planning and carrying out attacks aimed at creating instability in Malayer.
He urged the public to remain vigilant, report suspicious activities, and cooperate with security forces to help preserve peace and security in the city.
