In a post on his X account (formerly Twitter), President Pezeshkian wrote that at the 17th ECO summit, “I expressed my gratitude for the responsible positions of the countries in the region by protesting the aggression against Iranian territory.”

“For us, ECO is a serious symbol of neighborhood diplomacy and at the forefront of multilateral economic diplomacy. Together, we can make the trade, transit, digital, tourism and resilience vision achievable by 2035,” Pezeshkian added.
