China backs Iran in protecting national sovereignty, security
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi says that Beijing supports Tehran in protecting its national sovereignty, territorial integrity and security.
China’s top diplomat noted that Beijing is in contact with Iran and Israel, expressing hope that Iran and Israel will achieve a lasting ceasefire.
Beijing throws its weight behind Tehran in protecting its national sovereignty and territorial integrity, Wang Yi underlined.
He went on to say that China backs de-escalation in the West Asian region.
