Nournews: Iran’s Foreign Minister announced that a meeting has been scheduled for Friday, June 20, 2025, in Geneva, for consultations between the Iranian delegation and the foreign ministers of the UK, France, Germany, and the EU representative.

According to the Foreign Minister, this meeting will be held at the request of the European Troika.

Earlier, Reuters, citing a German diplomatic source, claimed that the foreign ministers of Germany, France, and the UK plan to meet with the Iranian Foreign Minister in Geneva on Friday to discuss Iran’s nuclear program. The unnamed source said the Troika ministers would first meet with Kaja Kallas, the EU’s foreign policy chief, at Germany’s Permanent Mission in Geneva, and would then participate in a joint session with Iran’s foreign minister.

A few hours earlier, Agence France-Presse (AFP) also quoted Western diplomats as saying that the European foreign ministers plan to meet with Iranian officials in Geneva tomorrow.
