Iranian fencer advances in Paris Olympics
Ali Pakdaman, Iran's saber fencer, kicked off his Olympic campaign in Paris with a sweet victory, defeating Japan's Yoshida 15-11 in his first match.
Pakdaman will next face a tough opponent from South Korea, currently ranked 3rd in the world, as he moves on to the next round.
