NOURNEWS- Mohammad Eslami, Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), stated this morning on the sidelines of the meeting of the government delegation with journalists: The responsibility for any incident lies with the IAEA, because the Zionist regime has not signed the NPT and the agency's safeguards, and today this regime is threatening the world with a nuclear bomb.

He added: Before the meeting of the Council of Governors, I told Rafael Grossi the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency in a letter that the Minister of the Zionist regime clearly threatened the Palestinians with the use of nuclear weapons.

The head of the Atomic Energy Organization stated: Also, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime said in October at the UN and at the General Assembly of the United Nations that we should confront Iran with a real nuclear threat and suggested that we should use nuclear weapons against Iran.

Eslami stated: We stressed to the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency that you are responsible for non-proliferation and when you don't act against a party that has neither signed the NPT nor is committed to safeguards, and no does not allow any access to the IAEA and clearly declares that it will use nuclear weapons, this is a violation of international laws, and it is the duty of the Director General to report this violation to the Security Council.
