NOURNEWS- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hossein Amir-Abdollahian is traveling to Beirut today (22 November) in order to consult with the Lebanese authorities regarding the ongoing crisis in the occupied territories, as the head of a political delegation.
This trip is a continuation of the extensive and intensive consultations of the Iranian diplomatic system over the past forty days, in order to try to stop the attacks of the Zionist regime on Gaza, lift the siege, and send food, health, and medical aid to the oppressed people of this region.
Iranian foreign minister's seventh trip to Lebanon after assuming the position of the Foreign Ministry is happening, while last night the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas issued a statement and announced: "We have reached an agreement for a four-day humanitarian ceasefire. Hundreds of special trucks carrying aid and fuel will arrive in all areas of Gaza, without exception, in the north and south."
According to the statement issued by Hamas in the framework of the agreement reached, 50 Israeli women and children under 19 years of age will be released against 150 Palestinian women and children under 19 years of age based on the records of captivity.
Some unconfirmed reports indicate that Amir-Abdollahian will visit at least one other country in the region after his trip to Lebanon.
