NOURNEWS- Commander of Iran’s northeast air defense zone has said that the country’s air defense equipment has been updated based on new threats.

Brigadier General Mohammadreza Masoumi said on Sunday that today, no threat is undetectable for Iran’s air defense.

He added that if aerospace threats are rapidly growing, the country is developing its defensive equipment with the same speed.

The commander also reiterated that Iran’s military progress is merely aimed at deterrence and pose no threat to neighbors.
