In this meeting, Dr. Ahmadian condoled the martyrdom of a group of Syrian people in the recent terrorist operation in Sayyidah Zaynab area of ​​Damascus to the Syrian government and people, and said: This vile act is a serious alarm about the possibility of regaining power of the terrorist groups supported by the US and the Zionist regime in Syria.

Dr. Ahmadian further elaborated and said: The enemies of Syria, who has failed to advance their policy in the 2011 war, are again trying to challenge the political stability of this country with such desperate measures while distorting the public security of Syria.

The secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of our country stated that the conspiracy against Syria is not limited to a full-scale terrorist war and said: the current ruling system of the World has used all kinds of political and international pressures and severe economic sanctions against Syria as a spice for the terrorist activities of groups such as ISIS and al-Nusra.

The representative of the Supreme Leader said: The resistance of Mr. Bashar Assad and the government and people of Syria with the help of their friends in the resistance front has led to complete defeat of the designed equations by the Western-Hebrew think tanks.

He said: The Islamic Republic of Iran welcomes the recent improvement of diplomatic relations between Syria and the countries of the region, and believes that this action is an important step in resolving the differences between the Islamic countries, which not only has very positive effects in creating stability and lasting security, but also It provides the ground for reducing the profit-seeking and insecure interventions of foreigners.

Dr. Ahmadian further pointed out that Washington is trying to disrupt the new process of de-escalation in the region by creating artificial crises in Syria through military campaigns and controlled conflicts, and continues to show itself as an important and influential player in the Syrian activism scene, by doing so the White House continues to keep its illegal and illegitimate presence in the Syrian soil.

The secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, while referring to the strategic relations between Iran and Syria in the political and security fields and the President's visit to Syria, emphasized the extension of this process to other sectors, especially the economic field, and then announced the full readiness of Iran in this field.

In this meeting, Faisal Mekdad, the Foreign Minister of Syria, also congratulated Mr. Ahmadian on his appointment and thanked Tehran for all-round support to the Syrian people and government, then said: In accordance to the signed agreement during president Raisi’s visit to Syria for expanding the cooperation between our countries, Damascus is also determined and ready to develop its relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran in all sectors.

He called the illegal US military presence in Syria a violation of the principle of sovereignty and a violation of the country's territorial integrity, and added: "The US seeks to revive terrorist cells to prevent the establishment of stable stability in Syria."

Faisal Mekdad mentioned the continued evil of the Zionist regime in the region and repeated military aggression against Syria as a real example of state terrorism and a provocative act and stated: terrorism, military aggression and cruel sanctions cannot disrupt the will of the Syrian nation to resist the coercion and excesses of the enemies.

Referring to the vast economic capacities that can be exchanged between the two countries and the Syrian people's acceptance of high-quality Iranian goods, he called for an increase in the presence of Iranian public and private companies in the Syrian market.
