Iran nationals can receive Romanian visa to leave Ukraine

The Iranian embassy issued a statement on Friday, urging Iranian nationals in Ukraine to apply for visa at Romanian diplomatic centers in Chisinau, Cernăuți, Cahul and Bălți or receive visas at Romania-Ukraine border points such as Halmeu and Siret Sighetu Marmaţiei in a direct process. NOURNEWS - Iran's embassy in Romania has announced that Iranian nationals residing in Ukraine can apply for visa at Romanian diplomatic missions in Ukraine.

The Iranian embassy issued a statement on Friday, urging Iranian nationals in Ukraine to apply for visa at Romanian diplomatic centers in Chisinau, Cernăuți, Cahul and Bălți or receive visas at Romania-Ukraine border points such as Halmeu and Siret Sighetu Marmaţiei in a direct process.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian in a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is seriously working on the safe exit of Iranian national from the war-hit Ukraine.
"Providing the security and safety of the Iranian expatriates in Ukraine are our priority," Amirabdollahian said in his phone talk with Lavrov.
The Iranian FM also held a phone call with his Slovak counterpart Ivan Korcok, discussing on the situation of Iranians residing in Ukraine.
Korcok stressed that Iranian citizens can enter Slovakia through the borders of Ukraine and then travel to Iran.
The National Airline of Iran, branded as Iran Air, has declared readiness to dispatch special flights to Ukraine for evacuating Iranian nationals.
On Tuesday, the Islamic Republic of Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh urged both Russia and Ukraine to show restraint. 
Khatibzadeh on Thursday, referring to the recent developments in Ukraine crisis, expressed regret over the start of military action and the escalation of the conflict between Moscow and Kiev.
He went on to say that the Islamic Republic of Iran is monitoring the developments in Ukraine with sensitivity, unfortunately,  provocative measures and interventions by the United States led to drastic escalation of tensions, and that the continuation of US-backed NATO provocations has led to a situation in which the Eurasian region is on the verge of entering a comprehensive crisis.
Iran has called on a ceasefire and immediate talks to find a political solution to the crisis, and reiterates the need to respect international and humanitarian laws in military conflicts.
