NOURNEWS - Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, attended the 58th session of the Munich Security Conference.
This presence is derived from the continuation of the policy of active and global diplomacy, according to which the Islamic Republic emphasizes the development of relations with the whole world.
This active diplomacy since the beginning of the thirteenth government has appeared through permanent membership in the Shanghai Agreement, activation of ECO, extensive and intensive consultations with neighbors, implementation of the 25-year Iran-China strategic agreement, strengthening comprehensive Tehran-Moscow cooperation, holding talks with the P4+1 in Vienna and the strengthening of energy diplomacy on the issue of gas in the upcoming visit of the President to Qatar.
The sum of these measures, of course, is an attempt to neutralize the sanctions within the framework of active economic diplomacy, relying on initiatives and internal efforts to solve the country's economic problems without expecting and waiting for help from outside the borders only.
On this basis, it can be said that the presence of the Foreign Minister of Iran at the Munich Security Conference, contrary to the speculations of the Western media about attributing this presence to the Vienna talks and their alleged project, is an independent step within the framework of active diplomacy to neutralize sanctions.
The Islamic Republic of Iran has always played an active and constructive role in the security of the region and even the world, and as the leading power in the region, especially in the field of air, land, and sea security, has the position and capacity to be one of the decision-makers in world security summits.
Iran has always considered itself responsible for the pain and suffering of the oppressed and suffering nations of Palestine, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, etc., and in addition to supporting measures, it has presented plans and initiatives at the regional and global levels that if they are heeded they can pave the way for ending of these crises and establishing lasting stability and security in the region and the world.
Iran, along with humanitarian aid and support for the resistance of these nations and countries against the occupiers, aggressors, and the political and economic terrorism imposed by the capitalist system, is the voice of these nations in world forums and public opinion, and the presence of the Iranian foreign minister in Munich Security Conference can be viewed from this point.
The United States and the capitalist system continue to live in the illusion of a unipolar system, while the crises and challenges of today's world are derived from this condescending thinking, and the way to get rid of this thinking is the global confrontation with it.
The Islamic Republic of Iran, as a country that has been at the forefront of global hegemony and arrogance for four decades and has been able to walk the path of authority despite all these conspiracies and threats, can offer practical solutions and models to the world for achieving pluralism.
In other words, an active presence at the Munich Security Conference can be part of the efforts of interpretation in the field of foreign policy to raise global awareness of the values, ideals, and achievements of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and to explain the evils and conspiracies of the domination system against the Iranian nation.
