E3, a fish out of the European Union water and the Vienna negotiation process

Following on from last week's meeting, the European Troika has made many efforts to change the course of the negotiations in order to meet the three objectives of "scoring concessions from China and Russia", "scoring from Iran" and "scoring from the European Union".

NOURNEWS - The second round of the new process of negotiations between Iran and the P4+1 started in Vienna on Thursday, while despite the positive news from negotiation process, the Western side in Vienna is still trying to follow Washington using different tactics in order to change the atmosphere towards intensifying pressure on Iran.

Hereof; According to the news received from Vienna, representatives of the three European countries, Britain, France and Germany, in continuation of their actions after the end of a new round of talks last week, have made great efforts to change the course of the negotiations in order to achieve the three goals of "scoring from China and Russia", "scoring from Iran" and "scoring from the European Union".

This behavior of the European Troika has in particular disrupted the mission of EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell and his deputy and envoy to the Joint Commission, Enrique Mora.

In the meantime; Officials in some other major EU member states have also reacted publicly to the policies of the three countries, calling the Troika's behavior in line with US interests and menus and undermining the EU's position.

Given the atmosphere in the Vienna talks, the clear and operational proposals of the Iranian negotiating team, due to their technicality and documentation, are of great concern to the United States and the three European countries in the P4+1, and to the lack of any legal argument against it, in consultation with "Robert Malley", are inevitably raising issues in order to change the course of the negotiations in the face of the seriousness of Iran and the support of China, Russia and the representative of the European Union.

To put it better; Iran's proposals, which are based on the accepted commitments of all parties in JCPOA, have been formulated and the path to an agreement has been clarified, although the Troika did not like it, because of the support of China, Russia and the EU representative, it has practically forced the Western side of the negotiations to play a destructive game to intensify the pressure and gain more concessions.

As has been repeatedly emphasized in the bilateral meetings of Iran's chief negotiator with the representatives of the three European countries, unless these countries have a will independent of Washington, the negotiation atmosphere will not move towards a good agreement, and the Westerners will certainly will be blame.

It seems that, given the outspoken statements of Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's representative in the Vienna talks, and his emphasis on resolving some of the misunderstandings that had plagued the negotiators, with the beginning of "practical work" at the negotiating table, the reaction of the United States and the Europeans in the coming days should be closer to their real goals and out of the realm of time-consuming and ineffective media rhetoric.
