Iran's political magic in the Levant region

The approval of the Lebanese cabinet after 13 months, the lifting of some sanctions and the withdrawal of a group of US troops from Syria, along with the reproduction of Hezbollah's popular power and popularity in Lebanon, effectively thwarted a joint US-Saudi-French conspiracy, putting Iran's two main allies in the Levant region, Hezbollah and Syria, in a privileged position.

NOURNEWS - Last Friday, Lebanon finally took over the government after thirteen months of uncertainty, and Najib Mikati as Prime Minister was able to get the full approval of his cabinet from President Michel Aoun.

Lebanon has been under de facto government since August 2020 following the resignation of Prime Minister Hassan Diab a week after the massive Beirut port explosion.

During these 13 months, the West, centered on the United States and the Zionist regime and starring France and Saudi Arabia, made every effort to remove Hezbollah from the Lebanese political arena in various forms and to establish a fully aligned government in the country.

In doing so, the United States initially made all international aid promised to Lebanon after the Beirut bombing conditional on the removal of al-Qaeda-linked factions, especially Hezbollah, from political power, but when faced with popular protests, tried to impose sanctions on Lebanon. Intensify the economic pressure on the people of this country and through this introduce Hezbollah and the person of "Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah" as the cause of the current situation.

The continuation of this Western policy pushed Lebanon to the brink of political, social and economic collapse, and under the leadership of the United States and the Saudi regime, it was able to organize some planned protests against Hezbollah.

The failure to form a legitimate government and the frequent change of caretaker prime ministers, along with Saad Hariri's dangerous play in this regard, effectively strengthened US and Saudi policy in Lebanon and led to the full implementation of their anti-people plan.

In the meantime. However, the close cooperation between Iran and Hezbollah and the admirable tact of Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah practically turned the fragile threat into an exceptional opportunity and broke the puzzle of the Westerners.

By accepting the sale of fuel needed by the Lebanese people to traders in line with the resistance, Iran practically bypassed the scenario of sanctions against Lebanon, and with the centering of Hezbollah, its acting power in supporting the Lebanese people in difficult conditions became more and more apparent.

The United States and the Zionist regime, which had been practically in a passive position on the initiative of Iran and Hezbollah, initially tried to stop fuel shipments by threatening them, but Hezbollah's re-exponential power and popular support, which was accompanied by increased hatred for the United States, France and the Saudi regime, also broke the deadlock.

By creating new conditions, the United States, which had failed to make costly plans, tried to change the direction of the 180 degrees, this time appearing in the benevolent position of the Lebanese people and taking action to supply the electricity needed by Lebanon.

More precisely, Iran's political magic in the Levant region led the Western-Saudi-Zionist axis, which in its raw imagination sought to impose targeted sanctions, to use Lebanon's difficult economic conditions as a springboard to achieve its goals in the region and to resist the people's livelihood. In the end, not only did he not achieve his goals, but he was forced to take steps to meet the Lebanese livelihood needs in order to prevent the Lebanese people from increasing their hatred against him while retreating from previous positions.

The activation of the United States to supply electricity to Lebanon via Egypt and Jordan and the need to use the Syrian power transmission network led the United States to lift some sanctions on the transfer of electricity through this country and accept the precondition for the withdrawal of some Washington troops from Syria.

Last week, Al-Alam reported on the quiet withdrawal of US troops from several key bases in Syria, with additional reports linking the transfer of electricity from Syria to Lebanon.

The approval of the list of Lebanese cabinet ministers after 13 months, the lifting of some Syrian sanctions and the withdrawal of a group of US troops from the country, along with the reproduction of Hezbollah's power and popular popularity in Lebanon, effectively thwarted a joint US-Saudi-French conspiracy. Iran placed Hezbollah and Syria in a privileged position in the Levant region.

The events of the last few weeks in the Levant region, along with other successive Western defeats in West Asia, have become so costly for them, and especially for the Zionist leaders, that the Zionist newspaper Israel Hume wrote in a report: "After Afghanistan, the United States now has to compromise, being prepared with Bashar al-Assad." After raising their hands from Afghanistan, they have now raised a white flag in Syria and are handing over the country to Assad and his allies."

"Israel Hayom" in this report, while referring to the withdrawal of the US military from Afghanistan after two decades of fruitless occupation, addressed the issue of cooperation between Iran and Hezbollah to provide the fuel needed by the people in Lebanon and called the US a loser of all developments in the region.

The report emphasizes: "In the shadow of the deep economic crisis in Lebanon and due to the severe shortage of oil and gas that disrupted the daily life of the people in this country, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, with the help of his allies in Tehran, made brilliant effort to influence thought." They launched a public rally, and the Iranians, by sending oil to Lebanon by Hezbollah, showed who really cares about the Lebanese people when they need it.
