The release of a non-confidential report on the murder of "Khashoggi" by the United States

US National Security Adviser: The US government will send a non-confidential report to the US Congress on the murder of Jamal Khashoggi, a Saudi journalist who was killed in Istanbul in 2018.

NOURNEWS - US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said that the administration of US President Joe Biden would soon submit a non-confidential report to Congress on the brutal murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who was killed in Istanbul in 2018.
He told CNN that the US Congress has passed a law requiring the government to send non-confidential copies of the investigation report and responsibility for the brutal murder of Jamal Khashoggi.
Sullivan said the government plans to send the report to Congress soon, adding that there is no deadline for sending the report to Congress, but that the process will not be long.
The US National Security Adviser said they would attach an additional response to their report on how to ensure an investigation into the murder of Khashoggi.
The US government will release the report in the first week of March, media sources said.
In 2019, an independent report by the UN Special Reporter provided detailed evidence that high-ranking Saudi officials had planned and carried out Khashoggi's assassination and dismemberment at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.
