Details of the "Peace Corridor" initiative in the region

This corridor, while providing the interests of the country, is a shorter and more cost-effective corridor in the south-north corridor that will be enjoyed by all the countries of the Persian Gulf, the Oman Sea and the Indian Ocean, and the Mediterranean and Black Sea countries in the north.

NOURNEWS - On Saturday, November 14th, a project entitled "Peace Corridor" was presented by two experts in the Caucasus during a meeting at the Institute for Strategy Researchers of the Contemporary World.

In another conversation, Shoaib Bahman and Seyed Mohammad Reza Damavandi recounted more details of this plan.

According to the proposal, with the aim of establishing and sustaining peace in the Caucasus region, the corridor will connect four countries: Iran, Turkey, the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia, which will facilitate traffic and speed up the exchange of goods and services.

The proposed corridor, called the Peace Corridor, will be created at the intersection of the borders of Iran, Turkey, Armenia and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, approximately 3 km long.

This corridor, while providing the interests of the country, is a shorter and more cost-effective corridor in the south-north corridor that will be enjoyed by all the countries of the Persian Gulf, the Oman Sea and the Indian Ocean, and the Mediterranean and Black Sea countries in the north.

In this way, the created corridor, in addition to commercial and economic functions, will be the guardian of security and peace in the region due to linking the interests of all countries.
