NOURNEWS - Militarism and military presence around the world have always been one of the main strategies of the United States and in addition to maintaining what is called US military hegemony and supremacy, it has also been a component of its economic and political goals.
However, there have been occasional claims by some US political circles and the media that US troops have withdrawn from overseas bases and returned to the country, including some allegations of the withdrawal or relocation of US military bases in Europe and the West. Asia (Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria), North Africa and so on.
Now, given the difference between a claim and a practical action, the question is, what are the goals of such a policy by the United States?
First; The United States, which once justified its military presence in other countries as a savior, is not only no longer in such a position due to crimes and inhumane behavior and the failure to deliver on its promises, but is also recognized by nations as the cause of crisis and disorder. Therefore, the United States seeks to silence the cry of protest of the nations by claiming the withdrawal of the military.
Second; Published statistics and reports indicate a state of disarray in the internal structure of the US Armed Forces. Rising rates of rape and defamation of female soldiers, which the Pentagon has officially warned about, high rates of depression and suicide among the military, especially those in the overseas area, rising disobedience among various ranks, and growing tensions among commanders. And the ranks below them, the atmosphere of humiliation created by the change of status from savior to mercenary, the sharp increase in the military's tendency to use alcohol and drugs, which has practically affected the US military, and so on. America will be challenged from within. Therefore, the claim of military withdrawal can be considered a coercive plan to prevent the internal collapse of the US military from becoming more apparent.
Third; The US presence in all parts of the world, including Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, etc., has been full of crime and killings, as the United Nations has reported in numerous reports of high civilian casualties in attacks by US forces or US-led coalitions. Each of these crimes must be prosecuted and brought to justice worldwide. Accordingly, they seek to escape accountability and trial in a media game.
Fourth; One source of American income is the rebellion of the rulers of countries that are cowardly in nature and define rationality in surrendering to American demands. Many reactionary Arab countries that do not have a popular base mistakenly interpret their nations 'tendency to resist as the axis of resistance in their countries, and ignore the fact that their unpopularity and submission to the United States has led to their nations' distance. While the resistance's approach to independence and confrontation with US intervention and hegemonic powers has paved the way for nations to resist. Therefore, by claiming the withdrawal of the military and creating fear among the cowardly leaders of the region, the United States seeks to implement a new phase of circus them.
Fifth; Some of the goals of the US military withdrawal claim can be traced to Trump's campaign. The internal situation in the United States and Trump's inability to resolve the Corona crisis, economic challenges, failure to fulfill foreign policy promises, etc. have caused Trump to not have a favorable situation in the elections. Therefore, considering the significant population of the military and their families, the claim of the soldiers returning home can be considered an electoral measure to gain the votes of this section of society.
Finally, it should be noted that the United States continues to see military strategy as an important key to world domination, so while claiming a military withdrawal, it seeks to cost global security by creating an atmosphere of insecurity and strengthening terrorist groups and proxy wars.
