Germany and Italy's support for NATO cruelty in Kosovo

Germany and Italy announced their support for the violent actions of NATO peacekeepers in Kosovo

NOURNEWS - Germany and Italy supported the actions of NATO forces in the north of Kosovo and claimed to support the reduction of tension in this region!

On Tuesday, Giorgia Meloni prime minister of Italy expressed her support for the Italian soldiers of the NATO peacekeeping group whom were injured during the recent clashes in Kosovo.

Without saying anything about the role of NATO forces in the creation of tensions in Kosovo, the Italian Prime Minister said that local authorities should refrain from unilateral moves.

She continued: "What is happening is completely unacceptable and irresponsible." We will not tolerate any further attacks against NATO forces. It is important to avoid further unilateral actions by the Kosovo authorities.

The Italian Prime Minister claimed that the government of Rome is still committed to peace and stability in the Western Balkans and will continue to achieve this goal through cooperation with its allies.

Antonio Tajani Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy has announced yesterday that 11 Italian soldiers were injured in the conflict in Kosovo, and 3 of them are in critical condition.

In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany in a statement condemned the conflict in northern Kosovo that resulted in the wounding of dozens of NATO soldiers.

The German Foreign Ministry also called for a reduction in tensions in northern Kosovo.

In this regard, the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany states: We ask Kosovo and Serbia to start negotiations to reduce tension without further delay.

It should be noted that the presence of NATO forces in the northern area of Kosovo led to the escalation of tensions and conflicts in this region. On Monday, the so-called NATO peacekeepers clashed with the Serbs of the city of Zarvijan in the north of Kosovo. Reportedly, NATO forces opened fire on Serbs living in northern Kosovo and were forced to retreat after being surrounded by Serb protesters.

Unrest broke out in the region after the majority of Kosovo Serbs boycotted the elections in four cities.
