NOURNEWS - Washington's chronic interventionism in East Asia has taken a more serious form in recent months, and many analysts evaluate the dangerous actions of the United States and The United Kingdom in Taiwan, the Korean Peninsula, the South China Sea, and the Philippines under the macro strategy of "China containment."
But this time, Beijing does not intend to face this costly interventionism with conservatism or compromise. This rule is also true for North Korea, a country that the American Democrats and Republicans always consider as a constant threat in their doctrine.
In the meantime; America's two regional allies in East Asia, South Korea and Japan, have so far become a function of Washington's absolute confrontation with its neighbor, instead of focusing on regional negotiations with Pyongyang.
The United States and South Korea have started a joint exercise near the North Korean border since Thursday, May 25, which North Korea had previously described as an "offensive exercise".
According to the Associated Press, this exercise will be conducted in five phases and will continue until June.
North Korea usually reacts to such incidents with missile tests or military test programs.
Earlier, the US Ministry of Defense said in a statement about this exercise that these programs are carried out to strengthen the joint operational capabilities of US allies. It was also emphasized that the United States and South Korea are seeking to prevent "North Korea's nuclear and missile threats" by implementing such programs!
However, Washington and Seoul's joint narrative of this exercise cannot justify America's regional approach in East Asia.
According to the information published by the Ministry of Defense of South Korea, since 1977, eleven joint military exercises have been carried out between this country and the United States of America, and according to the announcement of the parties, a series of fighter jets, hunting helicopters, tanks and systems are to be used in this joint exercise. Launch rockets from both sides.
More details of the weapons that are going to be used in this operation have not been published, but in the last joint exercise between the two countries, which was held in 2017, at least 2,000 soldiers and 250 types of weapons and ammunition from both countries had been taken advantage of.
According to the metatext called "China's regional containment policy" by creating successive tensions in the Korean Peninsula and Taiwan, Beijing is also likely to go through the tactics of silence against these actions.
This is an issue that even some American strategists such as "Henry Kissinger" have warned the White House officials about.
In any case, the signs of the crisis on the Korean peninsula are no longer going to crystallize themselves only in the bilateral relations between Seoul and Pyongyang. This is the worst possible news for the West, which strengthens the possibility of their scenario collapsing.
