NOURNEWS - For several times in recent years, France has made targeted and planned blackmail against our country's missile activities, but this time, like the previous times, it will not be successful.
The real issue is that Paris has announced its displeasure with what it called "tensions and the extremely worrying development of Iran's nuclear and missile program".
Anne-Claire Legendre, spokesperson of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, condemned the test of the latest version of Iran's long-range ballistic missiles and called this action a violation of UN Security Council Resolution 2231, which was approved in 2015 based on the JCPOA.
This political and non-legal demonstration of the French took place after the defense minister of our country unveiled a new model of the kheibar missile named "Khorramshahr 4" with a range of 2,000 kilometers.
Since the implementation of JCPOA, American and European authorities have always accused Iran of violating Security Council Resolution 2231 in a series of political and non-legal actions.
This is despite the fact that, as stated in the text of the above-mentioned resolution, Iran is only prohibited from building and testing ballistic missiles with the purpose of carrying nuclear weapons and warheads, otherwise, the building and testing of these missiles cannot be restricted under any agreement.
In order to put pressure on Iran and to disarm our country in regional relations, Western authorities have no better excuse than Security Council Resolution 2231, but even according to this legal document healthy nature of the missile activities of the Islamic Republic of Iran does not violate this legal resolution.
In other words; The recent position of the French is based on a kind of biased interpretation of the nature of Iran's nuclear activities, and there is no document to prove Paris's anti-Iranian claim.
In recent years, France, Germany, Britain, and the US have constantly talked about the contradiction between Iran's missile tests and the provisions of Security Council Resolution 2231 in their political statements, but when it came to legal arguments, they had no choice but to remain silent!
The role of the French in this equation is very noteworthy, especially since 2017, that is, from the beginning of Macron's presence in the Élysée Palace and becoming the president of France, he pledged to the Trump administration, to do his utmost to curb Iran's missile activities and ban ballistic missile testing by our country.
Later, the France president gave the same commitment to Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, and even despite the change of the American government and the presence of Joe Biden in the White House, he continued his unconstructive and costly approach in confronting the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The recent statement issued by the French Foreign Ministry showed that Macron has not yet learned from the events of the last six years.
Undoubtedly, these statements and planned blackmailing will not only create an obstacle in the expansion of Iran's missile and defense activities, but will limit the communication channels between Tehran and Paris even more due to cooperation between the Élysée Palace with Washington and Tel Aviv.
