The relations between Iran and Russia are deep and fundamental

Upon his arrival in Moscow, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran said: Iran-Russia relations are developing more fundamentally than in the past, in different dimensions.

NOURNEWS - Admiral Ali Shamkhani, the representative of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution and the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, arrived at the Vnukovo Airport this morning to participate in the fifth session of the regional security dialogue in Moscow, welcomed by Kazem Jalali, the ambassador of Iran to Russia, and Alexander Vendicto, the deputy of the Russian National Security Council. Upon his arrival in Moscow, Shamkhani said: "Iran-Russia relations are developing more fundamentally than in the past, in various dimensions, including economic, defense, security, scientific and commercial." Admiral Shamkhani added: "For the sustainable development of bilateral relations in various fields, it is necessary to continuously review and monitor the implementation of what the leaders of the two countries have determined as a road map." He pointed to the visit of Russian National Security Council Secretary, Nikolai Patrushev to Tehran in November and said: "Decisions made in Tehran will be followed up in Moscow and the steps of their implementation will be carefully examined." He pointed to holding the regional dialogue meeting with the presence of secretaries, advisers and representatives of the national security organization of Afghanistan's neighboring countries and emphasized: "In this meeting, the political, economic and security developments of this country will be discussed and investigated." Admiral Shamkhani stated that the problems and troubles of the Afghan people are caused by the inefficiency of the occupiers and the events after the occupation, and said: " Considering that Afghanistan can become a point of regional crisis, therefore the countries surrounding Afghanistan in this summit are investigating the ways to help solving the problems in Afghanistan. The secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran also said: " The list of extra-regional interventions in the countries around Iran shows that the problems in these countries are caused by two main issues, including discord and preventing the participation of the countries of the region to solve the regional crises."
