NOURNEWS – Tajik President Emomali Rahmon was accorded official reception by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Monday. The reception ceremony was held in Saadabad Palace in northern Tehran, with the national anthems of Tajikistan and Iran played at the ceremony. Rahmon arrived in Tehran yesterday heading a high-profile delegation. He was welcomed by Iran’s Energy Minister Ali-Akbar Mehrabian on arrival at Mehrabad Airport. The trip was organized at the official invitation of President Raisi who paid a similar visit to Tajikistan last year to meet the Tajik president and attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.
