Referring to Iran's comprehensive cooperation with Ukraine to clarify the dimensions of the crash of the country's passenger plane in Tehran, Keyvan Khosravi said: " From the very beginning of this tragic incident, all the requests of the Ukrainian government, which in some cases went beyond the usual necessities, were met so that no doubt remained on the way to discovering the truth of the matter."
In response to a question from a questionable reporter about the recent remarks of an informed Iranian source who had stated that Ukraine intended to attribute the accident to a defect in the Russian Tor M-1 air defense system, Keyvan Khosravi refused to deny or confirm this news, but He stressed: The recent claims of the Ukrainian authorities, who unfortunately seek to create political atmosphere around this case by attributing false statements to the Iranian officials, are by no means constructive and acceptable.
He said: "Sending the plane's black boxes to France to read its documents is the most important reason to prove Iran's transparent and honest behavior in the way of clarifying all the details of the incident."
Khosravi described the political exploitation of the tragic event, which is linked to the feelings of dozens of bereaved families, as unfortunate and inhumane, noting that numerous and independent groups of experts have carefully examined all the hypotheses about the targeting of a Ukrainian plane. Decisively and documented with technical and expert evidence, they stated that the cause of this unintentional accident was human error.
He added: "So far, none of the foreign authorities have provided other technical reasons that can deny or weaken the Iranian expert report, and only seek to put political pressure on Iran by creating a media atmosphere and stimulating the emotions of the families of the martyrs."
In the end, Khosravi said: Judicial measures are underway to investigate the case of the accused in this unfortunate incident, and the punishment of the accused will be determined and announced soon with the formation of a competent court.
