The Zionist regime is the first defendant in the attack on the Iranian merchant ship

Given the geographical location and the way the ship was targeted, one of the strongest probabilities is that this terrorist operation was carried out by the Zionist regime.

NOURNEWS - In a conversation with a member of the investigating technical team to measure the effects of the attack on the Iranian merchant ship called Shahrekord, Nournews correspondent learned that the issue of the Zionist regime's involvement in this terrorist act is very strong.
The Iranian container ship Shahrekord, which belongs to the Islamic Republic Shipping Company, caught fire on Wednesday, March 11, on its way from Iran to Europe in the international waters of the Mediterranean Sea due to an explosive object.
The expert who spoke to Nournews pointed to the impact of high-explosive objects on a number of containers on the deck of the ship, noting that the explosive projectiles could have been fired from a flying vehicle at the ship.
He added: "Considering the geographical location and the way the ship was targeted, one of the strong probabilities is that this terrorist operation was carried out by the Zionist regime."
The Zionist media network WiNet claimed yesterday that Israel may be involved in the attack.
The Wall Street Journal also reported from US officials on Thursday, March 12, that since late 2019, Israel has targeted at least 12 ships, most of which were carrying Iranian oil to Syria.
The newspaper claimed that most of the ships targeted by Israel were oil tankers and quoted US officials as saying that the attacks began in late 2019 and targeted Iranian ships, as well as other ships carrying Iranian oil cargo in the Red Sea and other areas. Zionist officials declined to comment on the report.
