Pompeo entered the occupied territories

The US Secretary of State arrived in the occupied territories a few moments ago to talk to Israeli officials about a wide range of issues, including Iran and the Corona.

NOURNEWS- Secretary of State Mike Pompeo arrived in the occupied territories moments ago to discuss with Israeli officials, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a range of issues, including Iran.

According to AFP, Pompeo is planning to talk to Netanyahu and other members of his cabinet about Iran, the spread of the corona and other issues during his visit to occupied Palestine.

In a video conference last week, US Deputy Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs David Shanker told reporters about Pompeo's visit to the occupied territories that the focus of Pompeo's talks would be on Iran's activities in the region, Syria and developments related to Lebanon's Hezbollah.

He went on to say that Pompeo's trip to the occupied territories was because the US Secretary of State and the Zionist regime "have a lot to learn from each other in the face of our current threats."

The US diplomat cited Iran's influence in the region as a current threat to the United States and the Zionist regime.

Shanker continued that meeting with Palestinian officials was not on Pompeo's agenda, and said that Palestinian leaders had not spoken to US officials for some time.

"There are issues I want to discuss with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and General Benny Ganter," the secretary of state said in an interview yesterday, without elaborating. Let me talk (Including) threats from Iran, how to cooperate with them and prevent them from acquiring nuclear weapons. "I'm also giving them new information about the progress of President Trump's peace plan."
