Final U-turn in the Vienna Talks; progress or stalemate?

Safeguard issues are not something separate from the JCPOA or an additional request from Iran, because in 2015, the IAEA also presented a political commitment to end claims against the nuclear program of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the text of the JCPOA.
NOURNEWS - The new round of sanctions lifting negotiations has started on Wednesday with the presence of the negotiating delegations of Iran, Russia, China, the United States of America and the representative of the European Union in Vienna. In this round of talks, which took place after several months of Vienna negotiations and an indirect round of negotiations between Iran and the United States in Doha, Qatar, the text proposed by "Joseph Borrell", the head of the European Union's foreign policy, and Iran's formal and content ideas that were used to conclude the negotiations presented is the main focus of discussions. Contrary to what has been stated in some western media, none of the previous remaining issues that prevented Iran from benefiting from the JCPOA have been removed from the agenda of the Iranian delegation, and the ideas presented by Iran have also been proposed with the aim of pursuing and achieving Iran's expectations. In this regard; On the first day of this round of talks, the Iranian delegation presented its views on a few remaining issues to the other side. Ensuring that there is no issue left to become a lever of pressure on Iran in the future is one of the most important things that the Iranian delegation has emphasized, because it is not acceptable for the Islamic Republic of Iran that the JCPOA becomes a hostage to the claims of the United States and the Western parties which have no basis and is raised only by stage management of Iran's enemies and with the aim of exerting pressure on Iran. For example; Regarding safeguard issues, the resolution of which is completely based on the JCPOA, the western parties made commitments last March, which now, after more than five months, not only they have not fulfilled them, but ironically, they are following a completely opposite path to those commitments. This behavior of the Westerners in breaking the agreement clearly strengthens the suspicion that they are not serious and have good faith in their claim to reach a strong, stable and reliable agreement, and not only they are not willing to accept the requirements of a strong agreement, but they are trying to put Iran under psychological pressure and earn more points. At the same time, the western side is trying to induce the Iranian side to indulge in the media space, that the safeguard issues are not basically a matter separate from the JCPOA or an additional request from Iran, and in 2015, in the text of the JCPOA, and the agency's board of governors also made a political commitment to end the claims against the nuclear program of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The point is that the western side is trying to force Iran to accept an agreement with all kinds of tricks, in which the issue of Iran's full benefit from the JCPOA is still unclear, and there is no guarantee that the alleged cases against Iran will not be opened by institutions such as the IAEA. Iran's logic in this regard is also completely clear and based on the principles of professional negotiation with balanced exchanges, which will naturally lead to a favorable agreement. If the western side claims to be trying to reach a strong agreement, it should prove its will by adopting a responsible behavior, not in multilateral media speeches, but by providing written guarantees. To describe precisely; The western side of the negotiations cannot take other issues as hostages and use them as a club while claiming to solve the issues and force Iran to accept the agreement, because experience has shown that in such a situation, as soon as they pass this stage in At the first opportunity, they will tune a new instrument and if it happened before, they will use all their tools to reduce the effectiveness of lifting sanctions. The fact that the White House has so far refused to accept the simple but principled logic of the Iranian negotiators is a proof of their lack of seriousness in negotiations and maintaining the effectiveness of the shadow of sanctions even after a possible agreement. Obviously, a possible agreement in the current negotiations if it leads to two things, that is; "Remove any lever of pressure against Iran in the future" and "stable and stable removal of sanctions to reassure business partners", because it does not guarantee the interests of the Iranian nation, there is no reason for Tehran to agree to it. According to this; Since the presence of the Iranian delegation in Vienna was done with the aim of reaching an agreement, if the other side has a real will to reach an agreement, this is available.
