The US victory in Afghanistan: From words to deeds

The US withdrawal from Afghanistan is part of a chain of defeats during its 20 years of occupation in the country, which, despite the cost of two trillion, two hundred and sixty billion dollars, the death of 2442 dead and more than 26,600 injured and disabled, is reminiscent of the Vietnam quagmire.

NOURNEWS - The US withdrawal from Afghanistan after 20 years of occupation; this has raised a question in public opinion whether this withdrawal is based on the victory of the Americans and the achievement of their goals or is failure to the achievement their goals?
To answer this question, a review of America's alleged goals and achievements after 20 years is worth considering:
Fighting and Destroying the Taliban: After 20 years, not only did the US claim not been achieved, but it has strengthened them by negotiating and recognizing the Taliban and now offers them a 50-percent stake in the government.
Counter-Terrorism: Not only did the Americans not succeed in the alleged fight against terrorism, but they also paved the way for the formation of terrorism in other parts of the world, as Trump officially said that ISIS was created by Obama.
Counter-narcotics: Drug production increased from 200 tons per year to 9,000 tons during the US presence in Afghanistan.
Economic Welfare in Afghanistan: The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) on Human Development in Afghanistan has announced that the country in 2019 with a human development index of 0.511 is in the lowest level of human development among the countries in the world.
By claiming sanctions against China, Russia and the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Americans have prevented Afghanistan from benefiting from the capabilities of the countries in the region and have actually intensified the economic crisis in this country.
Billions of dollars in aid raised at international summits for Afghanistan were also spent by the United States on so-called security spending.

Building culture: The glorious holding of religious ceremonies, including the mourning ceremonies of the martyrs and the active participation of Afghan youth in the Fatimid army, defending the shrine in Syria, shows the failure of the Americans to institutionalize Western culture in this country.
Refugee Crisis Resolution: UN reports reject US claims that Afghanistan's refugee crisis has been resolved; in 2020 alone, about 380,000 people in Afghanistan were forced to flee their homes.
State-building and modern army: In the military field, the Americans have practically not taken any steps to strengthen the Afghan army, as today the Afghan army is unable to confront and resist the Taliban.
In the field of state-building, Afghanistan has not achieved a stable and inclusive structure, and the conflict over the formation of the country's political structure continues.
Given the above, it can be said that the withdrawal of the Americans from Afghanistan was due to their broken chain during the 20 years of occupation in this country, but there are several other important factors to be added.
A) Awakening of the Afghan people: The Afghan people have realized that the presence of foreign forces is not an achievement for their country, and the main causes of the crisis in their country are the occupiers, so they consider the expulsion of the United States as a good way to achieve lasting security and stability. The holding of anti-American demonstrations in all parts of Afghanistan is a proof of this claim.
B) Global Awakening: The world no longer sees the United States as a savior who is a criminal, who is the root of all crises and not a problem solver. The revelation of the racism that dominates the American structure and the illusory nature of American democracy and the inevitable fate of countries in which the United States has intervened militarily and the human consequences of its economic and scientific terrorism in the world have added to global anger against the United States.
C) The performance of the Resistance Front: The performance and achievements of the Resistance Front in the real fight against terrorism, regional and global security, and vice versa, the role of the United States in creating and spreading terrorism, is one of the important factors of global awakening in recognizing the criminal nature of the United States.
Despite spending $ 2.2 trillion, killing 2,442 people and injured more than 26,600 people, the Americans have not only failed in Afghanistan, but they are leaving the country with great defeat and shame.
This withdrawal is reminiscent of the US defeat in the Vietnam War, which in the near future will have no choice but to repeat this option in Iraq and other parts of the world.
