NOURNEWS - The horrific explosion on Tuesday evening in Beirut, which had catastrophic proportions and caused a lot of damage, has raised the question in the minds of the public as to what really happened. As mentioned in the initial news, the main incident related to the fire in a warehouse for the storage of raw materials for the production of incendiary items, which occurred with the spread of fire to the depot of about 2700 tons of ammonium nitrate, the second explosion which was very severe and damaging.
Although at present, and due to the greater involvement of the Lebanese people in the human, economic and biological consequences of the massive destruction of the Lebanese capital, the manner and main reasons for this tragic event are not among the top priorities of public opinion, but the answer to the questions is definitely The numerous that exist in this regard will soon become the first demand of the people, and naturally the government of this country must be held accountable for it.
According to official reports, based on initial estimates by experts, poor maintenance conditions and the problem of frequent power outages may have caused a fire and a major catastrophe.
Last night, Lebanese Prime Minister Hassan Diab, in his first official reaction to the explosion in the port of Beirut, cleverly stressed the need to investigate the cause of the explosion, saying: "At the moment we do not want to speculate too soon, but what I can do and what I am saying is that we will not allow the perpetrators of this tragedy to go unpunished."
"Those responsible for the blast must pay the price," he said.
Diab's remarks show that he does not consider the incident to be an accident, at least in terms of its context, and emphasizes the punishment of its perpetrators.
According to some Lebanese sources, in 2014, during the Syrian civil war, some individuals, including Ashraf Rifi, the former head of the Lebanese Internal Intelligence Organization, who supported the armed conflict against the legitimate government of Bashar al-Assad, attempted to import the necessary raw materials for explosives, these large shipments were discovered, seized and stored at the port.
The groups to which these individuals belong have historically dominated the port of Beirut, and perhaps that is why dangerous explosives have been stored in the port without observing safety standards.
Although initial statements all point to the explosion of incendiary fireworks and their spread to the ammonia and nitrate depot as the cause of this catastrophe, what, why and how this issue remains in a state of ambiguity.
On the other hand; Regardless of the initial reaction of the Zionists and the Americans, who denied any role in the incident in the first moments of the incident, as well as the contradictory statements of Trump, Pompeo and the spokesman of CENTCOM, the greatest benefit of this tragic event will go to them.
For many years, every terrorist incident or explosion in Lebanon has been planned and directed directly or indirectly by the Zionist regime, and certainly if this time it is intentional, it will surely point the finger of blame at Tel Aviv.
More precisely; As the economic bottleneck and the bulk of Lebanon's imports are gone, one of the most important benefits of this incident for the United States and Israel is to inflict more severe damage on the weak Lebanese economy and the poor livelihood of the Lebanese people, which in recent months they sought to achieve it.
According to this; If we consider the words of Hassan Diab in referring to the existence of some behind the scenes, we should seek to answer the questions of which political current this port has in the hands of Lebanon? Who are the importers of crackers and incendiary materials? Why is this material stored next to the ammonium nitrate depot? Who is responsible for this unhappiness? And why did the Saudi media point the finger of blame at Hezbollah from the very beginning without any documentation?
Answering these questions can solve a large part of the puzzle and identify the perpetrators of the Beirut blast, while blinding the path of biased narratives, as the Lebanese Prime Minister and Defense Minister announced, paving the way for punishing the perpetrators.
