NOURNEWS - Maj. Gen. Hossein Salami, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, expressed during a ceremony honoring and introducing the Commander of the Imam Hussein (AS) Military University and the Revolutionary Guards: "According to the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, Imam Hussein University is the birthplace of an army. This is the point where the personality, spirit, knowledge, insight and understanding of the young Revolutionary Guards are formed, and the point of entry of our youth into the environment that is connected to heaven."
He added: "Here we can consider a piece of a heavenly land where there is nothing but the teaching of jihad and God's commandments and the method of swordsmanship in the way of God."
The Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC stated that the service in this university will remain forever, and said: "The Revolutionary Guards are here to protect the honor of the IRGC, and here is the center of the spirit of jihad and the center of attention of the IRGC."
He added that the most experienced commanders of the IRGC will be appointed to command the Imam Hussein University: "The commanders of this university are among the prominent members of the IRGC and they rule their own hearts, they know the principles of religious education and the wounds of the jihad era are engraved on their bodies, One of these commanders, Rashid and Delavar, shines the most, and I feel inferior whenever I see them. The highness of dignity and self-esteem, loyalty, trust, self-sacrifice, these are their characteristics, I would like to mention the great Sardar Yadegar, the proud and enduring model of the holy defense era and the aftermath of the jihad after that, namely Sardar Haj Ali Fazli."
He continued: "Sardar Fazli, like Hajj Qasim himself, is a school and a brilliant statue of virtues and perfections. This man has been present in all the battlefields from the south to the middle front and deep in Iraq, and 8 years of holy defense is reminiscent of his struggles, veterans and honors. He is the beloved of all hearts. He is a star that shows us the way."
"Whatever we say and put the words together, the full definition of this being will not be enlightening. We would like Haj Ali to continue on this path, but because of the boredom that befell them, we wanted him to be relieved of some of his executive duties. Of course, he will work alongside Sardar Naqdi as the deputy coordinator."
Sardar Salami also stated about Sardar Abazari, the deputy commander of the officer's university: "During the Holy Defense, he was in charge of the units attacking the Iraqi oil ports. I have known this dear brother for almost 40 years. He was one of the great commanders of the Navy, and he worked hard to replace the Commander of Imam Hussein University, and God willing, he will continue to serve in the Navy."
The IRGC Commander-in-Chief also stated about Sardar Gholami, the new commander of the university: He is also famous in the IRGC for his piety, sincerity and hard work. God Willing, he will take the flag of this university and will continue this path with strength and seriousness."
